There are many Affiliate Programs on the Internet that are free to join and allow you to sell their products without any overhead. If you are looking for a good program to join take time to validate that they are a reputable company and are listed with the BBB. Also look for a Company that will allow you to sell products both by purchasing them at wholesale prices and by directing prospective customers to your website.

Once you have located a Company that you are happy with take time to signup with them and read through all the training material they provide. They may also have a discussion board where you can discuss the business and ask any questions about the products.

The next step is to look through their products and create a flyer to give to everyone who attends your garage sale. It also a good idea to order some of their products that you feel you may be able to sell directly at your garage sale. For instance some of the programs I have joined have excellent cleaning products that I can demonstrate and sell on the spot.

Once you have done all the preparation work get together with your neighbors and organize a garage sale at which you will sell all the normal items found at garage sales plus introduce people to your online products. Advertise your garage sale and then prepare for the actual day by thinking what you are going to tell people about the products you have available.

On the day of the sale have your computer setup at a strategic point where everyone attending is able to view your online products and make a purchase via your website, and have the products delivered to their house. Make sure your printer is also connected in case they want to print out receipts etc.

If your affiliate Program allows you to earn commission off the sales of those under you then also take time to give flyers about this opportunity as well and explain to people that anyone can have a garage sale every so often and sell the products that way. If you can do it so can they. This is only one of many ways to market your online products offline.
