We all know what a rollercoaster is. The one moment you
are up in the air and the next moment you plunge down to
the very bottom, just to hoisted right-up again.
Now the ups can be both exhillarating and scary. It's up
to you to decide what you are going to make of it. The
rollercoaster will not change for you, it will keep on
going up and down until you get off of it.
For everyone that gets on the rollercoaster, it's the
same. It will go up and down, up and down. Some will
enjoy it, while others won't.
Life's also like a rollercoaster. You have highs and you
have lows. The difference between life and a rollercoaster
is that the rollercoaster allows you to get off if you
don't like it. If you later change your mind you can get
back on.
Unfortunately life doesn't allow you to get off, unless
of course you commit suicide, and many have chosen that
route. The problem with this is that you can't get back
on, once you realized you've made a mistake or when you
feel better.
The funny thing I discovered is this. If I make a decision
to enjoy the ride regardless of how I feel, in other words,
whether I like it or not I seem to enjoy it. Time seem to
pass much more quickly and life doesn't seem so bad after
all.
The problem is that when I fight life, life seem to get
harder. The things that I hate seem to worsen, and remain
with me and I can't seem to get the things I want.
Let me ask you this. Do you know someone who has a generally
negative attitude? Someone who complains and critisizes all
the time. Have you noticed how things just can't seem to get
better for them? The more they complain the worse things get.
The funny thing is I discovered that there's actually a
science that explains why this is so. It is called the law
of attraction and it states that you attract more of what
you put out, in the sense that it is either positive or
negative.
When you fight the rollercoaster of life and continually
complain about the things that go wrong, you are going to
have a nightmare ride, one that you won't soon wake up from.
According to the law of attraction and in actual fact, you'll
find that when you DECIDE to enjoy the ride, irrespective of
how scary it sometimes get, or how you feel you start to
attract happy circumstances that will give you even more
reason to be happy.
Instead of being a never-ending nightmare your life will
transform itself for real into the life you always wanted.
It's as if the Universe knew exactly knew what you needed
and gives it to you at the right time.
So, why not choose to ride the rollercoaster that is life,
instead of fighting it. The rewards are plentiful.
Just try it and you'll see.
