Understanding Adsense

There are a lot of people out there making a lot of money
using Adsense - however most of them are not telling their
secrets - well not for free anyway.
I am going to assume a few things in this article to cut
down the amount of introductory comments I have to make.
Here is what I am assuming:
1. You have a blog/website. Most of the following tips will
apply to other types of websites also.
2. You have read overview of Adsense and have some
understanding of what it is.
3. You have read the program policies as outlined by
Google. These give details of site eligibility, ad
placements and other requirements for using the system.
The next question is: Is your blog suitable for Adsense? -
Before you rush into signing up for Adsense expecting it to
earn you a million dollars it is worth asking the question
of whether Adsense is the right revenue strategy for your
blog/Website.
There are some amazing success stories out there but I will
be concentrating on only few elements that will impact your
Adsense earning capacity the most:
Adsense revenue, traffic levels, high paying ads, relevant
ads and optimally positioned and designed ads.
Every above elements contribute to the total revenue that
your Adsense ads will produce. You should have all these
elements as strong as possible, because otherwise it will
hold back your potential earnings.
Traffic is of course very important, because the more
people that see you Adsense Ads, the more likelihood there
is that someone will click on them. Work on increasing your
traffic levels and you should see an increase in your
Adsense Revenue.
High paying ads are giving you the best payoff, if you
donˇ¦t have a list of high paying keywords, scroll down
this article and click on the link on the bottom to go to
getmemoney.net, and you will get 20 top paying adsense
keywords to build your blog/website around.
Your ads have to be relevant. The ads are displayed by
content of your blog/website, so increase the relevancy of
your Ads to your content and you are one step closer to
increasing your Adsense revenue.
The ads have to optimally positioned. You can choose any
color scheme and position your ads anywhere on your
blog/website, make sure they are visible and not outside
content of your page. Put them in strategic places and
blend them in the color scheme or your page.
How do you increase the traffic to your webpage then?
Quality, Interesting, Useful and Original Content - What
are the blogs that people read the most? This is essential
to increasing your readership unless you have some amazing
trick to bring readers in.
Be generous with your links to other bloggers/websites big
and small. Youˇ¦ll be surprised how many links come back
your way. This not only brings traffic from their sites but
helps your ranking in Google.
Update frequently. If you don't update your blog/wesite
content in over one month the previous interested readers
will not come back.
In my next article I will be concentrating more on how to
get more traffic to your website. Feel free to visit my
getmemoney.net page (link below) for the highest paying
adsense keywords at the monment.
