Use a Niche Market for Your Adsense/Overture Ads

You're bound to get up to 1 million or so from the bottom of the list with your flair and verve aren't you ?) The Answer is NO ! ! The reason that all the internet Gurus make money - is that they know something that you don't ! ( Every time I think of the Rich Jerk I can just see him in only a turban and loincloth floating 3 feet above the floor in the Himalayas) (and why aren't there Heralayas ?) Shall I tell you - or shall I keep the secret I swore by the skull and bones society of Adsense Masters to keep until death or at least three pints of Bishops Finger(It's a BEER !)? OK here we go for basics .... when people say NICHE MARKETS The don't really mean NICHE (as in the crack the mice live in under the wardrobe at the back of a ruined church) ... what they mean is a LIMITED INTEREST. Now you have to use a little imagination here - suppose you were Human ( if you're not then why are you reading this?) just ignore all that stuff about concentrate on your hobby and everything will flow OK stuff because that's just trying to put you off the scent. Look at the websites of the people who are doing really well from Adsense - here's a hint - they are the people who keep trying to get you to sign up to their lists and then forever after try to sell you programs and ebooks that you don't really need.... Just look them up on the web and take a peek at their websites. This is what you will find - Instead of a site on INSURANCE - they'll have a site entirely on Yacht Insurance or Yacht Charters of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Instead of a website on Dog Training - they'll have a site on how to pamper your Great Dane. (are you getting the idea yet ?) It's not an Outre interest like the Masks of the Allicama Tribe of Northern Gabon - who except a museum would be interested in that ? You need THOUSANDS of visitors to each of your websites to make money. It is an Interest like F1 Formula Racing in Southern Europe complete with timetables, ticket sales opportunities, Airline and Hotel Booking,Travel agents offering packages, Biographies of Famous Racing Car Driver since the year Dot. Something that Thousands of happy campers would be interested in and would find things to ***BUY**** on your website. Get thee hence to the emporium of messrs eBay and Co -wherein ye shall find many such minor interests (no I don't mean coal minors !) Let's go to eBay.co.uk and find a few. What we are looking for is sections of interests that appeal to several thousand people and who would regard your new website as a kind of 'club' where they can discuss their interests and swap bits and pieces with each other (or sell to each other). They are obviously computer literate or they wouldn't have got as far as eBay.( I met a 94 year old lady who's making excellent money on eBay this week !)

OK lets look at eBay All Categories - then Sports Memorabilia as an example There are listings today for : Cricket Memorabilia 3942 listings Football Programmes 66,085 Football Shirts 14,244 Motor Sport Memorabilia 14,002 Wrestling Memorabilia 3532 Football Autographs 11,921

Any of those could be a NICHE website with lots of interested visitors. (But not a Chesterfied Football Shirt section with 1 listing !) Ebay is a great source of ideas and when you get into that way of thinking then lots more will come to you - when watching tv for exanple. Take those as your KEYWORDS and run them through Overture or Wordtracker to get even more keywords - then look at the bid tool to find the most profitabe ones. It really isn't Rocket Science - but it IS quite a lot of work.

Your alternative is to join a subscription service that sends just a handful of people monthly niche market websites. So few that the search engines don't count them as duplicate content.Make sure they don't sell more than 200 copies though . You need to be fairly exclusive with your content and ALWAYS change PLR articles so that they are exclusive to you (this means NOT using a fancy change the text around program)

You'll find hundreds of Niche Markets this way and through things like Yahoo's or Google's Groups - or just take a wander through the internet forums and you'll be well on your way to sucess.
