Many of you keep your passwords in your computer.
Some use simple lists, while others use 'password
software' programs. But just how safe are your
passwords, either way?
Lists and other software usually will let anyone who is
using your PC see your passwords. You don’t want to
leave your computer unattended. If you have a full
time Internet connection, your PC can also be hacked.
Now, there is a better way. A new free desktop (NOT
another web browser) toolbar called Magnibar has a
number of software tools, including a “Password
Vault”. Not even You, can see all your passwords until
you enter your unique Master Password. Only one
master password to remember, and it's safe to leave
your PC alone.
The best part is the web icon inside the vault. Click it
and be taken directly to the website that needs that
stored user ID and password. So, you click the web
icon, go to the protected site, then copy and paste
both your User ID and Password to enter.
Have a site that wants you to change your password
often? Easy with Magnibar and it’s Vault. Use your
Master password to open the vault, make any
changes, and save your new information. That’s it!
The Vault is 'newbie simple' to use: After installing the
free Magnibar, just click the Password Vault button.
The first time, you are asked to create a Master
Password. Once you have entered that, you can start
putting in your site passwords. First you enter(or
paste) the protected site’s web link/URL, then type in
the user ID and password. Lastly, type a short
descriptive name to remember/identify this site. These
short site names are displayed in a list in the Vault.
Later, you access any site by opening the vault and
clicking the icon. That’s it. Simple. Protected.
There's another reason why the Magnibar Password
Vault is even better than using other password
protection software programs: cost. Yes, Magnibar is
totally free software. You don’t have to give your email
address, or name, to get Magnibar!
I’ve left the best part to the last: Magnibar comes with
over thirty free how-to videos to help you use the vault
and all of the software tools that are crammed into this
magnificent toolbar. GO get your copy of this free
software at magnibar.com
