About this product: I ordered the French Kisses flavor for a new Coffee Pod that was arriving from Melitta (where I had ordered more traditional coffee to accompany the purchase). The flavor is excellent. The Pods are super to work with and can be used with or without the pod machines. If I am in a hurry, I simply throw a pod in a cup, add the hot water, enjoy. I have a touchy disposal/kitchen pipe system, am glad to toss the pods in the trash and not worry about grounds collecting somewhere in a bend in the pipes. Good-bye Mr. Plumber.

(3) Coffee Break (1959) - This work training film tackles the issue of employees wasting too much time on routine breaks, many times lingering while drinking coffee and socializing. This film shows more than any film how ingrained the culture and ritual of coffee drinking was in American life, with its presence felt from the breakfast table to the workplace to the living room.

(4) Coffee House Rendezvous (1969) - This film shows that by the late 1960s, conservative social organizations such as churches and community youth groups had already accepted the "Coffee House," once a cool, hip meeting spot for subversive counter culturists, as an acceptable recreation place for wholesome teenagers. As the beatnik hangouts were commercialized, spending time in the coffee house suddenly became a normal activity for teens, and they were even encouraged to start coffee houses in their own basements!

(5) American Women: Partners in Research (1960) - Who knew designing a coffeemaker could be such a sexist task! About this product: Digi International's EtherLite Terminal Servers make adding RS-232 and RS-422 serial ports to your network easier than ever. They blend the control and performance of local ports with the convenience of an Ethernet connection. Since the EtherLite ports are real serial devices, they aren't weighed down by complex network terminal server overhead. The result is a much simpler configuration, less Ethernet congestion, and a much lower cost per port when compared to conventional Ethernet terminal servers.EtherLite Terminal Servers are not typical Ethernet terminal servers. The traffic from all 2, 8, 16 or 32 EtherLite ports is serviced by a single TCP/IP session, compared to the conventional one-session-per-port method. The obvious EtherLite benefit is less overhead at the host, and less traffic on Ethernet. EtherLite serial ports appear as local ttys under UNIX and as native COM ports under Windows NT. These locally-administered, full "hardware-style" ports allow much greater control than standard terminal server ports. Operating system drivers (Windows NT or UNIX) are provided free with each unit on CD-ROM. Simply attach the units to twisted-pair Ethernet, load the device driver on a UNIX or NT host, and set the IP address. EtherLite Terminal Servers are compatible with UNIX workstations and servers from Sun, HP, IBM, and DEC, and with systems running Windows NT, Java, or SCO.
