About this product: This video traces the history of Carter vs. Brown & Williamson, also known as the lawsuit brought against "Big Tobacco." Grady Carter initiated the lawsuit after learning he had developed lung cancer in 1991. He won a 750,000-dollar judgment in the case in 1996. This came as a major blow to the tobacco companies, who had hoped to continue winning all of the major personal injury and wrongful death cases brought against them by those harmed or killed by their cigarette smoking.
