From the supplier: Mastercard International Inc has improved the security features in its credit cards. First, the cards have a tamper-evident signature panel which makes use of fugitive inks which discolor if attempts are made to remove original signatures. Second, the cards have dual card validation codes, one of which is printed in a unique reverse italic font that is difficult to duplicate. Third, a Mastercard script symbol is embossed on the face of the card. This informs sales clerks that the card is equipped with the new security features.
