About this product: I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I was so excited when I found out there was a Cartel 2 and where the book was a great read I hate how it ended. Now I'm still in the same place I was when the first book ended. I liked that they went deeper into Miamor's background but I would have truly been disappointed if Carter was actually killed but then again we still don't know do we???? Keep them coming Ashley & Jaquavis ya'll are a great duo!

In the early 1990s, Demetrius âBig Meechâ Flenory and his brother, Terry âSouthwest T,â rose up from the slums of Detroit to build one of the largest cocaine empires in American history: the Black Mafia Family. After a decade in the drug game, the Flenorys had it allâa fleet of Maybachs, Bentleys and Ferraris, a 500-man workforce operating in six states, and an estimated quarter of a billion in drug sales. They socialized with music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, did business with New York's king of bling Jacob "The Jeweler" Arabo, and built allegiances with rap superstars Young Jeezy and Fabolous. Yet even as BMF was attracting celebrity attention, its crew members created a cult of violence that struck fear in a city and threatened to spill beyond the boundaries of the drug underworld. Ruthlessness fueled BMFâs rise to incredible power; greed and that same ruthlessness led to their downfall.
When the brothers began clashing in 2003, the flashy and beloved Big Meech risked it all on a shot at legitimacy in the music industry. At the same time, a team of investigators who had pursued BMF for years began to prey on the organizationâs weaknesses. Utilizing a high-stakes wiretap operation, the feds inched toward their goal of destroying the Flenoryâs empire and ending the reign of a crew suspected in the sale of thousands of kilos of cocaine â and a half-dozen unsolved murders.

About this product: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change was a groundbreaker when it was first published in 1990, and it continues to be a business bestseller with more than 10 million copies sold. Stephen Covey, an internationally respected leadership authority, realizes that true success encompasses a balance of personal and professional effectiveness, so this book is a manual for performing better in both arenas. His anecdotes are as frequently from family situations as from business challenges. Before you can adopt the seven habits, you'll need to accomplish what Covey calls a "paradigm shift"--a change in perception and interpretation of how the world works. Covey takes you through this change, which affects how you perceive and act regarding productivity, time management, positive thinking, developing your "proactive muscles" (acting with initiative rather than reacting), and much more. This isn't a quick-tips-start-tomorrow kind of book. The concepts are sometimes intricate, and you'll want to study this book, not skim it. When you finish, you'll probably have Post-it notes or hand-written annotations in every chapter, and you'll feel like you've taken a powerful seminar by Covey. --Joan Price
