there are other sites like haloscan that offer more complete features. i created these simple utils for my own use and then decided to put them online. true, they are crude, but some find them adequate. i also try to enhance them occasionally as free time permits. thanks for the feedback.

Great, simple script serving a real need.

However, so long as you offer it only as a "service," denying the user total control over its configuration and insisting on retaining this ridiculous umbilical cord to your own site, the script's useless.

No one in his right mind would use it under those conditions. The character limit can't even be changed.

when the "view/add" link is clicked to add a comment, a new window from this site is opened to let the user post a comment. that's how most services of this type work. if there's some other issue, please give a sample page. will investigate. thanks.

This is great, but is there any way to change the background color and text color? Because this doesn't look good on my web site.If I could just make a couple of basic style changes, it would be perfect. But thanks anyway.
