by: ramesh on 2011-08-23 04:53:08 My Ports are open but show Close or Filtered. I think this is wrong.
by: Farmboy on 2011-08-05 16:39:26 Thank you guys so much for this. This is an awsome tool for checking my home networking open ports and port forwarding. Great job!! Please keep it up and running!!
Thank you!

by: Smithwax on 2010-10-29 14:11:28 Please Can some help me with a good Denmark proxy ip.thanks
by: thunder1 on 2010-09-16 19:28:05 lame tool, scans only 10 ports at the time on on top of that is inaccurate too
by: nikey on 2010-08-19 19:53:49 this tool sux... higly inacurrate. cya.
by: Nope on 2010-08-13 23:57:10 Inaccurate
by: carlos on 2010-05-02 18:56:08 true as they say, this checker tool doesnt work properly, open ports turn out as "closed/filtered". blah! =(
by: sule on 2010-03-10 11:48:49 not accurate..sometimes got some wrong result..
by: vortecs on 2009-12-23 21:20:20 Very good tool :X
by: Jeff on 2009-10-19 20:23:36 Useless for actually determining if the port is open or not. I know of several open ports on the IP I tested, and it only showed "closed or filtered"....thats great to know...
by: Craper on 2009-10-15 06:11:14 what a pile of shit
by: ip-man on 2009-03-16 10:05:49 bad precision!
by: Dath on 2008-12-10 20:33:37 good idea, but highly inaccurate. Did a tracert to a site which I know 100% has 7 specific ports open, tested this computer, some routers/servers listed from the tracert and the site itself and states they were closed.
by: Danty on 2008-12-07 03:31:23 cute tool =0
by: Lewis on 2008-12-02 18:54:37 GREAT online tool. Exactly what I was looking for. Allows me to troubleshoot port issues on remote pc's outside of the network. Keep this site up!!
by: rh [admin] on 2008-08-27 00:11:56 i hear you. it's for spot checking, not a comprehensive utility. if you're looking for a powerful tool nmap is the way to go.
by: ahj on 2008-08-26 09:04:09 it is damn worst tool i have ever seen. it is worthless to see only 10 ports result at a time. really disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by: AlFcl on 2008-08-25 20:34:03 thx from portaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
by: Luzemario on 2008-02-08 13:04:48 Outstanding! this service is what I was waiting for! I am behind a restrictive firewall and can't do testing on my home net... thank you very much!
As a suggestion, can you put some kind of 'tracert/traceroot' in your tools? it could be useful for tracing network problems or ISP page blocks.
by: corongo on 2008-02-07 00:17:28 hola me ayuda quiero saber si se puenden editar mi web seria de buena ayuda por fabor yo tengo un server de juego quisera saber como se edita en mi server ya estoy me complica a mis demas usuarios
by: rh [admin] on 2008-01-30 03:45:13 generally a closed port indicates that the host is there but no apparent service is running on that port. connections are immediately closed. a stealth or filtered port could mean a non-existent host. connections go unanswered and eventually time out. firewalls could simulate either condition to protect internal hosts, but many out there are configured using the stealth format.
by: Dragan on 2008-01-28 20:26:33 Good tool but I have a question: I got a message for my port 443 that is open but SOME PORTS MIGHT BE FILTERED. What das this mean? Who filters ports? Internet service provider or maybe my router or... who?
Thanks,
Dragan
by: shar0x on 2008-01-14 23:02:05 its pointless for hackers cause you can only do 10 at a times when theres thousands so dont worry about them
by: DaTa on 2007-11-14 18:02:48 Great scanner. It is very accurate on the result and do detailed testings.Good job guys.
by: Nick on 2007-10-14 12:47:02 This is THE best around for testing your network rules 'remotely'.
Thanks,
Nick
by: Jesus Salgado on 2007-09-13 12:29:30 Very useful service!
by: Anonymous on 2007-09-07 11:36:27 Could you not make the service do a full port scan?
Great tool though!
by: Ficuzo on 2007-08-30 13:13:10 Thank yo very much, great thing to check from outside world own firewall settings.
by: Alex on 2007-07-12 16:14:54 Fuck! Ports 4662-4672 are closed or filtered:/
by: Rai on 2007-05-16 06:46:03 Really helpful .. thx for the tool.

by: rh [admin] on 2007-02-20 01:55:42 good suggestion. unfortunately due to potential abuse, email service is not being offered at this time. glad you found the page useful.
by: cool2kill on 2007-02-03 16:17:35 Hi!,
Awesome tool!, I was looking something like this to audit my site!. Is there any way to update the page and add box to send the results to my e-mail address?
by: Dark-Angel on 2007-01-05 04:36:56 this is perfect, actually this is what im looking for... awesome job to the creator.... cheers buddy.
by: Grant on 2006-12-29 03:06:05 At last a tool that actually allows me to specify a different IP address as opposed to our primary routed IP. Makes any admin who manages multiple external ip's job a lot easier. Thanks for the great work.
by: anonymous on 2006-12-24 09:40:51 problem is the limit of only 10 ports being scanned ... full spectrum scan would be nice !!!
thx a lot for this service
by: Wirayudha Rohandi on 2006-12-15 11:19:18 very helpful, thanks
by: coldradek on 2006-12-08 09:24:04 thanks alot, this tools is very helpfull.. keep a good work!.
by: shal on 2006-09-07 05:54:15 Thanks for such tool avaible for free. One of the thing each administrator need.
by: Ron Kuper on 2005-10-31 02:05:25 Great tool to know where the problem is if you cannot reach a remote server - No other way to know if it is a firewall down the road from your LAN or on the server side.
by: adderek on 2005-08-16 10:35:37 I was looking for something like this on the internet but found only l4m3 apps (I have to scan my own PC from the internet). Lucky I have found this page. Great thing.
